The same hotel can offer very different stays depending on the room. A few questions help you choose.
What will you do in the room?
For a city break, you will mostly sleep there: a well-located standard room is enough. For a beach holiday, the view and the terrace become part of the trip.
Who is travelling?
Check the number of adults and children each room welcomes, and the age from which a child counts as an adult. Families often do better with a family room or two connecting rooms.
Flexible or best price?
A non-refundable rate is cheaper but cannot be cancelled. If your dates may change, a flexible rate is worth the difference.
